Story:   Balupu is mass entertaining story with few twists and more intresting flash back episodes in it. Here is the complete plot of the story

Ravi (Ravi Teja) is a recovery agent for a bank. He leads a simple life in the city of Bangalore along with his father (Prakash Raj). He comes across Shruti (Shruti Haasan) and her uncle Crazy Mohan ( Brahmanandam ) unexpectedly. Shruthi and her uncle have a habit of cheating gullible young men and Ravi decides to teach them a lesson.
In this process, Shruti and Ravi fall for each other. Shruthi’s father (Nasser) and Prakash Raj also agree to the alliance. But things take a violent turn with the entry of Vizag Poorna (Ashutosh Rana). He reveals some shocking truths about Ravi and Prakash Raj.
Ravi and Prakash Raj have a violent past and that past also involves Anjali (Anjali).

 Performance of Lead :
Ravi Teja is his energetic best and he has got the power to engage the audience as long as he is onscreen. His punch dialogues and his timing worked well this time.
Shruti Haasan is a glamour doll. She has toned up her body with perfect oomph factor and gave the required visual feast. There is no doubt that she is going to play a long innings in Tollywood and reach top position.
Anjali’s character was significant and she has delivered her bit as required. Though her role was non glam her body language and expressions give enough to tickle the nerves.
Prakash Raj had a contrasting role and he has performed well. Adivi Sesh's screen presence is impressive. He can be a very promising villain in Tollywood. Brahmanandam gave his share of comedy and Ali also shined wherever possible. Ashutosh Rana didn’t have a powerful characterization he could have been used better. Nasser was natural. The others were there to fill the screen.
